In this presentation, which will be given together with Eng Teck Yeo, Senior Director Industrial Engineering at GlobalFoundries, we will explain how stochastic simulation can be used to portray the dynamic behaviour of Semiconductor Manufacturing facilities and can enable use cases such as fab WIP profile projection, early bottleneck identification, evaluation of latest tool installation schedule, and analysis of time link constraints impact on cycle time. This will be showcased through the benefits achieved by GlobalFoundries with the deployment of our cutting-edge D-SIMCON Dynamic Capacity and Material Flow Performance (DCMF) Planner. The presentation will also elaborate how the AI-Driven Autonomous Factory of the Future can be enabled through the use of fab simulation for pro-actively training AI models.
