D-SIMLAB Technologies Pte Ltd, the Singapore-headquartered leading provider of high-performance, simulation-based business analytics and process optimization solutions is one of the Top 100 Global winners for the prestigious Red Herring Award. Last month, D-SIMLAB was among the 200 companies short-listed by Red Herring. The shortlisted companies were put through strict evaluation process that included both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, management quality, strategy, and market penetration. Red Herring also complemented the assessment with a review of the track record and standing of startups relative to their sector peers. This allowed Red Herring to see past the “buzz” and confer the award to only the best companies in the league around the world.
Red Herring‘s Global Top 100 Award, which has been running since 1996, is awarded to leading private companies from North America, Europe, and Asia, in recognition of their successful innovations and technologies across their respective industries. Red Herring’s Global 100 list has become a mark of distinction for identifying promising new companies and entrepreneurs. Red Herring editors were among the first to recognize that companies such as Google, Skype, Netscape, Salesforce.com, YouTube, eBay and many others would change the way we live and work.
“Choosing the best out of the previous three years was by no means a small feat,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “After rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed down our list from 1,200 potential companies to 200 finalists. Trying to get it down to 100 companies was a task upon itself. D-SIMLAB should be extremely proud of its achievement, the competition was difficult.”
