The D-SIMSPAIR Field Parameter Analyser (FPA) is a statistical analysis tool that enables monitoring and detection of trends and seasonality effect as a basis for regular revision of critical planning parameters such as MTBUR and Repair Turnaround Time to make sure that inventory network planning and optimisation is carried out with values as realistic as possible. Applying various statistical methods and forecasting techniques, the module makes use of past performance of parts, repair times and supplier lead times to determine expected future values of these parameters and obtain the most updated values. This also helps to identify parts that are not performing as per expectation and provides the User with an indication of the impact.
